Marty Lacombe has had a fascination with tattoo art and design since his early teens, drawing tattoo designs for friends and family. Marty has a background in fine arts, having studied at the Sheridan Institute of Fine Arts and Design. He began tattooing in March 2005 and quickly showed himself to be a naturally gifted tattoo artist. Once he gave the real thing a shot, he knew that he had found his career, and he was quickly picked up for his first studio job at Diversity Studios in Sudbury, Ontario in June of the same year. In June 2007, he joined the crew at Live Once Tattoo and Body Piercing, where he continues to amaze both his regulars and new clients every day.

Marty especially likes to do more colourful pieces, and as he puts it "with creative control, I can create a better design with a tattoo machine than with a pencil".
